The Sunday hours are worth a mention. A good deal of downtown Brantford is closed on a Sunday and we are open until six.
What You Can Get Done Here
Tattoos. Look through the artist pages and pick by style — fine line, traditional, realism and blackwork are genuinely different disciplines and the artist matters more than the shop.
Piercings. Started in implant-grade titanium as standard, with a flat back for ears and nostrils. We ask you to come back for the downsize once the swelling settles, and that appointment is what prevents most of the trouble people have later.
Choosing a Studio, Wherever You Go
Worth applying to us as much as anyone.
Ask to see healed work. Every tattoo looks sharp the day it is done. Two years on is the real test, and a portfolio of only fresh photographs is not telling you the thing you need to know.
Ask about the needle. Single-use, opened in front of you, into a sharps container. Nothing else is acceptable.
Ask about the autoclave. Reusable equipment gets sterilised in one, and studios keep testing records.
Notice whether they will tell you no. An artist who says your design will not hold at the size you want is giving you the most valuable thing they have.
The Health Unit and The Law
Studios here are inspected by the Brant County Health Unit under Ontario’s regulation covering personal service settings — instruments, sterilisation, surfaces, single-use items and records.
Inspection results are public. Look up any studio you are thinking of using.

You can walk here from any of them.
A piercing is a short appointment with no recovery and nothing that stops you going to a lecture afterwards. A tattoo needs more planning — eat first, keep the evening clear, and expect the consultation to happen before the needle does.
A tattoo needs more thought. Do not book one on the day you decide you want one — come in, look at portfolios, talk to someone and go away for a week. And do not drink the night before your appointment, which is the single most common reason a student booking goes badly. Alcohol thins the blood, and the ink does not sit as well.
Before Your Appointment
Eat something first.
Wear something that gives access to the area without an awkward reshuffle.
Bring several reference images rather than one, so the artist can see the direction rather than guessing.
For anything large, expect a consultation before any needle comes out. That is not a delay, it is the part where the design gets right.
